I conduct an inauguration ceremony, which may be held at the commencement of any event.
The building is vacated and closed. Next, a short speech is given just outside the building’s front entrance. Using a ceremonial mace commissioned for the event, the front door is knocked three times, then opened.
The mace is then publicly displayed inside the building’s entrance for the event's duration.
Psalm for ceremony
Oh
Make us strong
validate our undertakings
and give us
wealth of mind
For that is all
which we
